#2 The spine-tailed swift also known as White-throated Needletail is the fastest bird, flying at the speed of 170 km per hour. No wonder it has been named ‘swift’! To compare, the average car in India has the upper speed limit of only 120 km per hour.

#3 The blood pressure of a giraffe is the highest of all animals, can you guess why? The reason is that, for us humans, the distance between the head and heart is only 12 inches but the head of the giraffe is 7 feet above its heart, so it needs a lot of power to pump blood up. Compared to human blood pressure of 120/80, giraffe has systolic and diastolic of 300/200 mm Hg.

#4 So then how big and heavy does it make a giraffe’s heart? A lot! The weight of a giraffe’s heart can be up to 40 kg! No wonder a male adult giraffe can be as heavy as 1400 kilograms.
