How to enter:
Articles will be accepted in both English and Bengali. There are 4 categories on which you can write. –
1. Monsoon memory – Getting wet in the rain, jumping in roadside waterholes, first love?
2. Monsoon recipe – Share your favourite recipes
3. Monsoon and me – Poems, stories or anything to show your creative side
4. Monsoon & the world – Keeping the topic at large, you can write-ups on travel, tips for the season, health advice, car and driving tips, gardening, fashion etc.
Entry procedures for articles:
Email us your write-up at email@example.com with your full name. Mention the contest category and a title for your write-up. Your write- up should be at least 300 words long and it should be in MS Word only.You can send more than one article.
If your post includes images, please send them as attachments also.Please mention credits and sources for data and images.Please offer only fresh content that has not been published before in the internet and your post should not violate any copyright laws.
Contest closes on 31st July 2017. The winners will be judged on the basis of Facebook likes (50%) and on the quality of the write-up/entry (50%). The winner will be announced by email on 10th August 2017. The best two winners will be awarded Flipkart gift vouchers of Rs. 500/- each.
Contest ends on 31 July midnight.The contest is open to all legal residents of India. Claiming of prizes requires an email response to Half Samosa from the winning sender email address within 30 days of being notified. Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize.
