Behind the thick clouds, hidden far away
We don’t feel your warmth and glistening rays

The looming darkness and pouring sky doesn’t enliven the soul
As days pass we pray for sunny days to unfold

Ode to the Sun

Drooping trees and rain washed streets evokes much hollowness
But with drops of your bright sunshine you can breathe in fresh life and happiness

Oh mighty Sun save us from this deluge
In your warm and inviting light we want to take refuge

Ode to the Sun
