Maha Nabami is the last day of the Mahishasurmardini worship. It is the ninth day of the Devi Paksha fortnight according to the Hindu lunar calendar.  This makes Maha Nabami the ninth and last day of Navratri. Goddess Siddhidatri, a beautiful and benevolent aspect of the goddess is worshipped today. The day starts with Mahasnan and Shodashopachar Puja and ends with Nabami Homa.
